This grant funds projects that improve recreational boating access in California. Eligible activities include planning, permitting, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of boating access facilities and amenities. It also supports outreach to boaters and education on aquatic invasive species. Applicants must provide a 25% non-federal match and cannot be federal agencies.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public agencies, and tribal governments. Federal agencies are not eligible. A 25% non-federal match is required, which can include license fee revenue.
