This program provides funding to eligible California local governments and delegated housing trust funds for housing-related projects addressing unmet community housing needs. Funded activities include development, acquisition, rehabilitation, and preservation of affordable multifamily and ownership housing, supportive services for homeless populations, homeownership assistance, and fiscal incentives for affordable housing projects. Projects must comply with Housing First practices and serve low- to moderate-income households.
Applicants must be Entitlement or Non-Entitlement Local Governments in California or Local/Regional Housing Trust Funds delegated by such governments. Eligible applicants are public agencies.
