This grant funds projects that preserve and enhance the San Joaquin River Parkway by protecting its biological diversity and cultural resources. Eligible activities include property acquisition for conservation and public access, as well as habitat enhancement and restoration on public or private lands. Projects must be approved by the San Joaquin River Conservancy Board and Wildlife Conservation Board. Funding supports educational and recreational opportunities within the river corridor in Fresno and Madera Counties.
