This program funds projects that restore, enhance, interpret, protect, and improve the Lower American River Parkway's natural, recreational, educational, and cultural resources. Eligible activities include habitat restoration, invasive species control, public access and recreational facility improvements, educational enhancements, and stormwater capture and treatment projects. Projects must be recommended by the advisory committee and located within or adjacent to the Parkway.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and tribal governments. Cost share is not required but may improve application scores.
