Supports multi-benefit ecosystem and watershed protection and restoration projects of statewide importance in California outside the Delta. Projects should align with the California Water Action Plan objectives, including reliable water supplies, species and habitat restoration, and resilient water resource systems. Funding is provided through Proposition 1 with an ongoing application process.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public agencies, and tribal governments located in California. Matching funds are not required.
