This grant supports electric vehicle drivers living in residential properties with on-street parking by funding up to 75% of the cost (max £500) to purchase and install EV chargepoints. Applicants must install a permanent cross-pavement charging solution and obtain local highways and planning permissions. The grant requires use of OZEV-approved installers and chargepoints and is available across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
Applicants must be individuals who own or rent and live at a residential property with on-street parking in the UK (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man). They must have an eligible electric vehicle and obtain local highways and planning permissions for the cross-pavement charging solution.
