The Places of Worship Renewal Fund offers grants ranging from £10,000 to £1,000,000 for urgent repairs and essential improvements to listed places of worship in England. Priority is given to projects in deprived areas that provide significant community benefits. The fund supports capital works that keep buildings safe, open, and in public use, with applications starting via an Expression of Interest.
Any listed active place of worship in England of any faith or denomination can apply. Projects must involve buildings listed at Grade I, II*, or II and be used for worship at least six times per year or be owned by a charity caring for historic places of worship.
