This grant funds mid-range capital equipment purchases to enable and enhance biomedical research across all MRC scientific areas. Eligible applicants are researchers or technical professionals at UK research organisations. Projects must start by June 1, 2027, last seven months, and funding covers 100% of full economic costs between £200,000 and £1 million. Applications must demonstrate value for money and relevance to MRC priorities.
Eligible applicants must be researchers or research technical professionals employed by UK research organisations eligible for MRC funding. Organisations may submit up to two applications, and project leads can only lead one application. International researchers may participate as project co-leads.
