This grant funds interdisciplinary research projects to understand how and why ecosystems transition, reorganise, or collapse, and how these changes affect ecosystem functions, economic prosperity, societal resilience, and national security. Projects must collaborate with the RESET programme hub and contribute evidence and models to inform ecosystem management and policy.
Eligible applicants must be based at UK research organisations eligible for NERC funding, including public sector research establishments and independent research organisations. Applications from individuals at any career stage are welcome, with encouragement for multidisciplinary collaborations.
