This fund supports UK-led projects that strengthen international partnerships in the space sector, focusing on innovation, economic growth, and national security. Projects must include international partners, matched funding, and demonstrate benefits to UK capabilities in satellite communications, assured access to space, in-orbit servicing, and space domain awareness. Projects can last up to 18 months, starting April 2027, with grants up to £1.5 million.
Eligible applicants are UK organisations from public or private sectors, including academia and industry. Applicants must have a UK bank account, comply with anti-bribery, GDPR, and conflict of interest policies, and pass due diligence checks including national security assessments.
