This opportunity funds a consortium to develop novel, dynamic methods for real-time measurement of public trust and confidence in policing. The project emphasizes engaging underrepresented groups such as children under 18 and victims of violence against women and girls. It supports piloting policing interventions to identify effective approaches for building trust. The consortium will collaborate across academia, policing, community groups, and industry to co-produce scalable, affordable tools and contribute to a Public Confidence in Policing Playbook.
