This opportunity funds academic researchers to access AstraZeneca's compound library and high-throughput screening facilities for small molecule drug discovery. It supports assay optimisation, pilot screening, and execution of HTS with funding up to £270,000 over 12-18 months. Projects benefit from technical input and may include embedding researchers at AstraZeneca for up to three months.
Eligible applicants include public sector, non-profit, and private sector organizations based in the UK or specified MRC units. Project leads must be actively engaged and direct the project. Commercial entities and international research organizations (except specified MRC units) are not eligible.
