This grant funds UK registered businesses to conduct feasibility studies on battery grade material technologies that support electrification. Projects should demonstrate how they address market demand, overcome industry challenges, and enhance UK competitiveness across the battery value chain. Funding ranges from £70,000 to £500,000 for projects lasting 6 to 18 months, starting from May 2027. Collaboration with SMEs and other eligible UK organizations is required.
Eligible applicants include UK registered businesses leading collaborative projects with at least one SME.
