This programme supports UK private sector SMEs developing Climate Tech First-of-a-Kind projects by providing expert advisory, technical assistance, mentoring, and upskilling to accelerate projects towards Final Investment Decision. Phase 1 focuses on developing tailored FOAK Development and Support Plans. Successful Phase 1 applicants may be invited to apply for Phase 2 grants up to £315,000 for eligible project development costs. Projects must start by March 2027 and last 3 to 12 months.
Eligible applicants are UK registered micro, small, or medium-sized private sector enterprises. Projects must be conducted and exploited in the UK, last 3 to 12 months, and start by 1 March 2027. Only one application per lead organisation is allowed, and subcontractors are not permitted.
