This competition funds UK businesses to lead collaborative industrial research projects with partners from Japan and select Eureka countries. Projects must focus on innovative products, technology-based applications, or services in sectors including semiconductors, quantum, AI, cybersecurity, advanced connectivity, biotechnology, and space. Grants up to £600,000 support UK partners only, with projects lasting up to three years. Collaboration must include at least one Japanese SME and can include other Eureka members.
Eligible applicants are UK-registered private sector businesses collaborating with at least one SME from Japan and optionally other Eureka countries.
