This grant supports small rural communities in Alaska by repaying bulk fuel loan debt or replacing bulk fuel lost due to disasters declared locally, statewide, or federally within the last two years. Eligible communities must not have access to other emergency bulk fuel assistance funding and must apply through the DCRAGrants system. The program aids recovery from fuel loss caused by disasters meeting specific statutory definitions.
Eligible applicants are small rural communities in Alaska with an official disaster declaration from the State, Federal Government, or as defined by Alaska statute. Communities must not be eligible for other federal or state emergency bulk fuel assistance funding.
