This funding supports the setup of Cross-Border Cyber Hubs across the EU to pool and analyze cybersecurity threat data, develop advanced detection and response tools, and facilitate large-scale sharing of cyber threat intelligence among CERTs, CSIRTs, ISACs, and critical infrastructure operators. The hubs will build on existing SOCs and cyber hubs, adopting open standards and automation tools to enhance collective situational awareness and cybersecurity resilience, including monitoring of undersea infrastructure like submarine cables.
