This funding supports research and innovation projects focused on developing advanced integrated photonic devices and circuits with enhanced functionality, efficiency, and ultra-low power consumption. Projects should address at least two key areas such as improved spectral purity, integration of novel materials, miniaturized photonic circuits, or power reduction. The goal is to demonstrate advancements in representative system configurations relevant to sectors like digital, automotive, industrial, health, and security, progressing from TRL 3 to TRL 6 by project completion.
Eligible applicants are legal entities established in EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, associated countries, OECD countries, and MERCOSUR countries.
