This grant funds projects that develop and mature critical space EEE components to reduce reliance on non-EU supply chains. It aims to establish sustainable, trustable supply chains within the EU or from approved non-EU sources, enhancing EU strategic autonomy, competitiveness, and security in space technologies. Proposals must align with EU space mission needs and comply with Horizon Europe eligibility and admissibility conditions.
Eligible applicants are legal entities established in EU Member States, Norway, and Iceland. Participation excludes entities controlled by non-eligible countries, especially China, unless guarantees ensure no negative impact on EU strategic interests.
