This opportunity funds projects that mature critical space equipment and related technologies to reduce EU reliance on non-EU suppliers. It aims to establish sustainable, primarily EU-based supply chains that ensure unrestricted access to high-performance space equipment. Projects should enhance EU strategic autonomy, competitiveness, and open new manufacturing opportunities while complying with strict eligibility and security conditions.
Eligible applicants are legal entities established in EU Member States, Norway, and Iceland. Participation excludes entities controlled by non-eligible countries, especially China, unless strict guarantees are provided.
