This funding supports projects that develop, validate, and scale state-of-the-art generative AI tools and models for real-time grid operations, market monitoring, and consumer empowerment within distributed energy systems. Projects must demonstrate AI development environments integrated with the digital spine of energy systems, prototype machine learning at edge nodes and federated architectures, and align with European AI and energy data standards. The goal is to achieve TRL 7-8 by project end, contributing to sustainable, secure, and efficient digital energy infrastructures.
Eligible applicants must comply with Horizon Europe admissibility conditions, including proposal format and eligible countries as described in the Work Programme General Annexes. Entities controlled by China are excluded. Use of Copernicus and/or Galileo/EGNOS data is required if satellite data is u
