This opportunity funds projects demonstrating zero emission coaches and buses in long-distance operations (≥500 km) across EU member and associated states. Projects must develop sustainable business models, test operational concepts including intermodal hubs, optimize charging and refuelling, and address passenger experience and legal barriers. Shared charging solutions and fleet management innovations are key focus areas to accelerate deployment and replication beyond initial partners.
Eligible applicants must comply with Horizon Europe admissibility conditions, including proposal format and eligible countries as per Annexes of the Work Programme.
