This opportunity funds projects to develop and apply advanced modelling frameworks that integrate circularity strategies within life cycle assessments for building renovations. Projects must demonstrate measurable reductions in material flows, energy use, and greenhouse gas emissions by applying these frameworks to real-life buildings in diverse European climates. Activities aim to achieve Technology Readiness Levels 6-8 and contribute to net-zero whole-life carbon buildings through reuse, recycling, and other circularity strategies.
Eligible applicants must comply with Horizon Europe general conditions, including admissibility, eligible countries, financial and operational capacity, and use of specific satellite data if applicable. Detailed eligibility is described in Horizon Europe Work Programme Annexes and Programme Guide.
