This funding supports projects that develop and demonstrate state-of-the-art thermal management and waste heat recovery solutions for IT rooms in buildings and small edge data centres (100-500kW). Projects should integrate thermal envelope simulations, building automation, and develop business cases for heat reuse locally or in district heating. Demonstrators must address climate-specific challenges in both cold and warm Member States or Associated Countries, contributing to climate-neutral and energy-efficient ICT infrastructure.
Eligible applicants must comply with Horizon Europe general conditions including proposal format, eligible countries, and financial capacity. Entities controlled by China are excluded.
