This funding opportunity supports projects that develop, validate, and demonstrate novel systems for recovering industrial excess/waste heat and converting it to mechanical or electrical power. Projects must physically demonstrate these systems at operational industrial sites, maximize replicability across EU and Associated Countries, and develop open guidelines and tools for integration into existing plant infrastructures. The goal is to enhance energy efficiency, reduce industrial energy costs, and provide flexible electricity generation to stabilize the power grid.
