This grant funds projects that develop and demonstrate innovative tandem photovoltaic technologies with efficiencies beyond silicon limits and lifetimes comparable to silicon PV. It supports large-scale engineering of interfaces and thin films, as well as production processes and equipment ready for deployment. Projects must include strong exploitation and commercialization plans to strengthen the European PV industrial base and contribute to EU solar energy and climate goals.
Eligible applicants must comply with Horizon Europe general conditions including admissibility, eligible countries, financial and operational capacity, and exclusion criteria.
