This grant funds projects that design, develop, and test technical innovations to improve ecosystem protection and restoration, including terrestrial, freshwater, and marine ecosystems. Funded activities should enhance effectiveness, simplicity, durability, and environmental sustainability of restoration practices. Projects must align with EU biodiversity and climate goals, achieve Technology Readiness Level 6-7, and collaborate closely with the EC Knowledge Centre for Biodiversity.
