This grant funds projects that accelerate growth of innovation-led urban food start-ups by strengthening business development, access to capital, and innovation capacities. It supports decentralized local ecosystems like incubators and accelerators, tailored mentorship, and participatory co-creation of sustainable, climate-smart business models. Projects must scale and replicate solutions across diverse EU contexts, measure sustainability impacts, and connect with existing research initiatives, integrating social sciences and gender considerations.
Eligible applicants must comply with admissibility conditions including proposal page limits and layouts, be from eligible countries as described in the Horizon Europe Work Programme, and apply a multi-actor approach. Financial and operational capacity requirements also apply.
