This opportunity funds projects that develop, test, and deploy innovative methods to restore and increase urban green spaces and tree canopy cover, focusing on climate mitigation, biodiversity, air and water quality, and human health. Projects must implement solutions in pilot sites across at least two lead cities, including urban transport networks, and evaluate environmental and social impacts. Collaboration with EU Mission platforms is required to ensure dissemination and uptake across European cities.
Eligible applicants must include entities from at least four cities in different EU Member States or Associated Countries.
