This grant supports initiatives to improve medical practitioners' and nurses' knowledge, skills, and attitudes for better healthcare delivery to people with cognitive disability. Funded activities include increasing access to and uptake of e-learning and continuing professional development on topics such as consent, behaviours as communication, reasonable adjustments, and inclusive healthcare. Grants may also support promoting training opportunities and providing financial incentives to complete relevant training.
Eligible applicants must deliver data collection and analysis, research and design, collaboration and communication, project management including governance, and workforce development and training strategies related to the grant.
