Supports Indigenous-led health and medical research projects that improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Grants fund organizations or consortia to run community-controlled programs, develop strategic investment plans, and partner with Indigenous researchers to promote evidence-based structural change and knowledge translation.
Only approved MRFF Eligible Organisations can apply. Applicants must meet all requirements outlined in the 2026 Empowering Community-Controlled Research Guidelines.
