This grant supports critical and urgent aged care infrastructure projects in thin markets facing risks of closure or safety issues. It funds new builds, upgrades, and innovative collaborations to ensure older people access quality aged care services close to home. Eligible applicants are invited registered providers, prospective registered providers, or government providers partnering with registered providers to deliver funded aged care services.
Applicants must be invited by the department and be registered providers, able to become registered before funding, or government providers partnering with registered providers. Invitations are issued directly by the department.
