This scheme funds reasonable legal representation and disbursement costs for current and former Australian Defence Force members involved in criminal investigations and prosecutions arising from the Afghanistan Inquiry. It supports legal advice, defense against charges, and court evidence participation related to AFP/OSI investigations.
Eligible applicants are current or former Australian Defence Force members involved in AFP/OSI Afghanistan investigations, including those asked to provide evidence, charged with crimes, or served with relevant notices.
