Sports Matter Grants support organized youth sports for individuals 18 or younger by funding equipment, registration fees, league costs, and infrastructure. Eligible applicants are local 501(c)(3) nonprofits or public/charter schools in high-poverty areas or with significant free/reduced lunch populations. Grants exclude playground refurbishments, fundraisers, and e-sports, and are awarded by invitation only.
Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits or public/charter schools in the U.S. serving youth in high-poverty areas or with at least 50% free/reduced lunch students. Nonprofits must operate locally or as local affiliates. Private schools, religious groups, and individuals are not eligible.
