This funding opportunity enables State Educational Agencies and their consortia to establish, operate, and evaluate innovative assessment systems in public schools. The systems aim to fulfill academic assessment and accountability requirements under ESEA Title I, Part A. Applications are accepted twice yearly, supporting demonstration projects aligned with ESSA amendments.
Eligible applicants are State Educational Agencies or consortia of SEAs. The grant supports agencies involved in statewide educational assessment and accountability.
