This loan program supports California-based manufacturers and businesses in financing equipment and facility improvements that promote recycling, repair, reuse, and source reduction. It aims to reduce landfill disposal and foster a resilient Circular Economy by enabling transformation of waste into recycled products and extending product life through repair and reuse.
Eligible applicants include private for-profit businesses, nonprofit organizations (excluding private schools), and local government entities such as cities, counties, sanitation and waste agencies, and joint powers authorities in California.
