This loan program supports California recycling manufacturers by financing machinery, equipment, and real estate improvements to expand infrastructure for organics digestion, recycling manufacturing, and food waste prevention. Projects must achieve permanent, measurable greenhouse gas reductions and landfill waste diversion. Eligible applicants include government entities, private for-profits, and nonprofits (excluding private schools). All permits and CEQA requirements must be completed prior to loan consideration.
