The Digital Humanities Summer Fellowship supports University of Washington doctoral students conducting innovative projects that use digital technologies broadly defined for humanities research, analysis, and publication. Fellows receive a $7,500 stipend to focus on their projects full-time during July 2026, with additional funding available for collaborators, digital tools, training, and research travel. Participation in cohort meetings twice weekly in July and two additional gatherings is required.
Eligible applicants are University of Washington doctoral students who have completed their master's degrees by the application deadline. Graduate students may reapply in subsequent years. Collaborative applications are encouraged.
