This research opportunity focuses on developing quantitative bioassays to monitor thyroid hormone synthesis in aquatic vertebrates, complementing existing in vitro assays. It includes assay development, chemical testing, and computational modeling to interpret thyroid disruption potential of chemicals. Participants will gain experience in analytical chemistry, chemoinformatics, data analysis, and scientific communication within a multidisciplinary team.
