The Kansas Promise Act Scholarship supports students pursuing two-year degrees or certificates in specified high wage, high demand, or critical need industry programs at eligible Kansas colleges. It provides up to $20,000 or 68 credit hours in last-dollar funding, requiring recipients to live and work in Kansas for two years after graduation. Applicants must meet residency, income, and enrollment criteria and complete FAFSA and an online application.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and Kansas residents with household incomes below specified thresholds. They must have graduated from or attended a Kansas high school or meet other residency criteria, complete FAFSA, enroll at least half-time, and complete their program within 36 months.
