The ACS Professor Award honors full professors who have made seminal contributions to cancer research and supports their continued innovative work with up to $80,000 annually for 5 years. Funded research spans fundamental, preclinical, clinical, psychosocial, behavioral, health policy, and epidemiologic areas. Candidates must demonstrate leadership in mentoring and community engagement and are expected to serve as spokespeople for cancer research.
Applicants must be full professors with 5 to 20 years at that rank. They should have a record of impactful cancer research and leadership in mentoring and community engagement.
