The Laidlaw Scholars Programme supports up to 25 motivated undergraduates annually to engage in independent research or leadership experiences over two consecutive summers. Scholars receive funding for accommodation, living expenses, travel, and lab costs while developing skills in ethical leadership and global citizenship.
Eligible applicants are first or second-year full-time undergraduate students at the University of Toronto pursuing their first bachelor's degree. Visiting, exchange, and graduate students or those with fewer than two summers before graduation are ineligible.
