This grant supports Texas-based nonprofits and governmental entities working to enhance the rule of law and justice system. Funded activities include projects related to administration of justice, ethics in the legal profession, legal assistance for the needy, legal research, publications, forums, and public education on the judiciary. Applicants must align with the Foundation's mission and serve Texas communities.
Eligible applicants are 501(c)3 charities serving Texas, state and local bar associations (501(c)6), and state, county, and local governmental entities. Individuals are not eligible. Special instructions apply for entities affiliated with the State Bar of Texas.
