This grant funds Texas-based 501(c)(3) charities and 501(c)(6) Bar Associations with projects that support the rule of law, legal ethics, legal assistance for the needy, legal research, publications, forums, and public education on government. Funding is available only for areas declared natural disaster zones by the Texas Governor or U.S. President. Grants depend on fund availability and must align with the Texas Bar Foundation's mission.
Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) charities serving Texas and 501(c)(6) Bar Associations with projects fitting the Foundation's mission. The disaster must be declared by the Texas Governor or U.S. President. Individuals are not eligible.
